Professional Data Recovery Laboratory in Pakistan

Nationwide & Courier

You don't need to be in Lahore to submit a device — devices can be couriered to our lab from anywhere in Pakistan.

If you're outside Lahore, the process starts the same way as an in-person case: contact us first and describe what happened to the device. We'll advise on whether it's safe to send, and how to package it, before you ship anything.

Before You Ship a Clicking or Mechanically Damaged Drive

  • If the drive is clicking, grinding or otherwise showing signs of mechanical failure, do not power it on again before shipping it.
  • Do not repeatedly test a failing disk to "see if it still works" — each attempt risks further damage before it even reaches us.

Packaging Guidelines

  • Use anti-static protection — an anti-static bag if you have one, or the drive wrapped so its connectors aren't exposed to loose metal or static.
  • Pad the device well on all sides so it can't move or shift inside the box during transit.
  • Use a sturdy outer box, sized so the device isn't loose — avoid shipping a drive in an oversized box with minimal padding.
  • Avoid direct pressure on the drive's connectors, casing or any exposed circuit board.
  • Include a note inside the package with your name, phone number and case reference, so it's clearly linked to your case if anything becomes separated.

Choosing a Courier

  • Use a trackable courier service so the shipment's progress can be monitored.
  • Share the tracking details with us once the device is sent, so we can watch for its arrival.
  • We'll confirm with you once the device has been received at our lab.

DiskAnalyst does not currently offer pickup services or work with specific courier partners — you arrange shipping through a courier of your choice.

Applies Across Device Types

These packaging principles apply whether you're sending a hard drive, an SSD, or the drives from a RAID array or NAS — for a clicking hard drive specifically, the most important step is simply not powering it on again before it reaches us.
